Aim of the Capacity Building Programme

The programme aims to strengthen the research competencies of faculty members in the Social Sciences by equipping them to conduct high quality research and transform their findings into publishable outputs, such as journal articles and books It also seeks to empower faculty and early career researchers with the skills necessary to develop compelling research proposals for securing funding from major and minor research projects as well as national and international grants and programmes through effective academic writing

Who Can Apply for this programme ?

Assistant Professor from Social Science disciplines (subject list given on the ICSSR Website) in a UGC recognized Indian University/Deemed University/College/National Institutes and ICSSR Research Institutes and their application should be duly forwarded by the parent institution.

• Confirmation by candidates : 5^th November 2025 by 5 00 pm
